I guess I have more than one resolution. Five days before Christmas, a good friend of mine passed away. He had a heart attack and subsequent stroke, and he'd just turned 36, with no family history of it. No chance to say goodbye to his wife, or his 5 year old daughter, or his 2 year old son. So -- I resolve to be there for his family in every way I can. I'm gonna try to never miss an opportunity to tell someone I love, that I love them. I'm gonna try to be an even better dad. I'm gonna try to spend less time on the internet, and more time out in the fresh air (remember when you were a kid and being trapped inside was the worst thing?). I'm gonna try to be as patient with people as my friend Ronnie was. I'm gonna try to worry less about what other people think of me. I'm gonna try to spend more time at the beach.

Hope everyone had a safe, happy Holidays, and that you have a great year.
