Point taken, with the following 2 notes: 1, the games played is misleading since Tejada only played 105 in 98, and has since missed exactly 5 games in 4 years, and 2, Tejada was a rookie in 98, not an excuse, but relevant since noone not named Albert Pujols peaks as a rookie. There's no scale for determining future performance, but if you compared all 4 SS' first 5 years, I think Tejada's numbers would be more desireable. Now, that being said, try this scenario:from the following 5 year numbers, pick a franchise SS without names-

SS1 - G(563), AB(2255), R(411), H(764), 2B(178), 3B(19), HR(107), RBI(430), BB(183), SO(210), SB(36), OBP(.383), SLG(.558), AVG(.330), E(82), FLD%(968) Age-29

SS2- G(732), AB(2987), R(591), H(972), 2B(148), 3B(24), HR(94), RBI(393), BB(333), SO(529), SB(125), OBP(.398), SLG(.483), AVG(325), E(74), FLD%(.975) Age-28

SS3- G(729), AB(2874), R(602), H(891), 2B(152), 3B(10), HR(223), RBI(616), BB(343), SO(577), SB(108), OBP(.388), SLG(.605), AVG(.309), E(65), FLD%(.981) Age-27

SS4- G(718), AB(2735), R(448), H(737), 2B(144), 3B(9), HR(120), RBI(466), BB(222), SO(437), SB(34), OBP(.290), SLG(.455), AVG(.267), E(105), FLD%(.968) Age-26

As I said, picking just from stats, taking into account age, years played, and year to year comparisons ( for example, SS4 has a 5year average of .267, yet it has increased every year, and he is currently batting .310)and even knowing who is who here, rate the order you'd pick a franchise SS in.
