I should have stated that the excerpt was taken from the DMN soon after his arrest, not some recent issue. The arrest was April 26th, and the article I took it from is dated May 7th. So he had the drug test pretty promptly.

As important as high school football is in Texas, the rumors that the cops held a grudge against Benson who went to the rival school, don't seem so far fetched.
