1) It was painful to watch Roy Williams out there. If Simms' legacy is one of choking in the big game, Roy's will be that he can't stay healthy. The good thing about his injuries this year, is that they'll probably force him to stay at UT another year.

2) Texas play-calling is awful.

3) Simms will probably end up a capable backup somewhere in the NFL. If he has a good O-line, and NFL receivers, he'll last in the league for awhile.

4) After the play-calling, Texas' biggest weakness is the Offensive line. Young, inexperienced, with a scheme that's too complicated. The Horns probably would have been better off with freshman Selvin Young back there. Benson has turf toe, which is not good for a RB. Isn't that what basically caused Deion to retire? Young is a little more shifty (even if Ced is healthy), and if your O-line sucks, you need to make things happen on your own.

5) Even if all of UT's stars were healthy, I'm convinced that the Longhorn staff still would have been outcoached.
