Jayson Stark and Peter Gammons both get under my skin fairly easily. The fact ESPN calls these two "experts" is simply ridiculous. Even their pal on Baseball Tonight, Karl Ravech is an annoying jackass who comes across in an "I work for ESPN and you don't, so I know more than you" fashion.

They (Gammons & Stark) should take some notes from their NFL counterparts of John Clayton & Chris Mortensen, who at times can seem long winded, but when ya hear them speak or read their columns, ya know most of it comes from good reliable sources and odds are, has good factual backing.

For my money, I would rather listen to Rick Sutcliffe, Harold Reynolds, Buck Showalter , et all, discuss the game than listen to Stark & Gammons run off at the mouth with their less than reliable banter.
