Kathy, I'm so glad you posted the "Mississippi" way to do this..
I knew that Chicken and Dumplings means different things to different people and places...and in this case, they are more like an extra-thick "noodle"??? instead of big fluffy biscuit mound?

Does that cold floured soda can work well for pie crusts too?
