To whom it may concern, I am a resident on LaGrande, Oregon. Hot lake hotel is located just out of town. I could ask around to see if there is any one who knows about buying the building. I have been out the the site myelf several times (sneaking around to see it for myself), and I would love to see sombody do somthing with it. I've researched the stories behind it a bit out of pure couriosity for the supernatural and such (local news paper archives). It was actualy a hotel then a aslyum / hospital up till the 70's, then it was a retirement home until Iguess the money ran dry, abandoned and then condemed. Now a relic of a past era that most arn't alive to remeber, and a romping grounds for vandalism. (Perfict aliby for a area of supernatural activity) I even had a friend who did a tarot reading in the main lobby of the third floor. It turned out pretty wierd.
But as the word goes around our small town... The place IS haunted. There was even a spot on t.v. (On fox I believe) about the most haunted places in the U.S., and I belive it was ranked at number 8 for the top most haunted. Well...in closing I would like to thank you for showing an intrest in this poor run-down building that has yet to cease to give us local folk the "Heebee GeeBEEs."
Yours repectfuly,
Alan Arnson

P.S. Please contact me if you would like.
