Subject: Crying girl by Giovanni Bragolin, aka Bruno Amadio

Marice,

I myself do not believe the children ever existed.

As I browsed the Web, I learnt that these paintings by Giovanni Bragolin aka Bruno Amadiore are considered Kitsch by many people.
Nevertheless, there is (was?) a fanclub at www.cryingboyfanclub.nl.

However, I own an original oil painting, showing a beautiful girl, not at all frightening but simply modestly crying, looking the spectator right into the eye...

Being an original, I wonder if this painting has any commercial value. It is 45x90 cm large, oil on canvas, excellent condition, gold colored 'barock' frame.
Do you know where to get quotes for that? I would not sell it right now, but wish to know if it is a goodie or really just Kitsch... ,-)

Yours, Nerd
