Squires Gate came with a game plan that was evident inside the opening ten minutes - spoil the play with continual fouling, waste time and hope to pick up a point or points depending on good fortune.

In general the tactics work well but this, along with a referee who was less than firm, contributed to a very poor game. We may not win the league on that performance but those tactics will see Squires Gate struggle at the wrong end of the table - without doubt.
