Subject: losers challenge

I just signed up for the loser's challenge. I have six children and I got back down after every one - until the last - and he's 10 years old and I've been steadily climbing since then. I realized that my success in the past came from being accountable to a weekly weigh-in. I live in Taejon, Korea right now and my husband and I are serving as missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. So, it's great for me to have the opportunity for online weight-ins and group support from other people with weight loss goals. I'm excited to start today!

I am glad you found us..... It is nice to be accountable for a weekly weigh in..... :) I nhave benifited from it many times.... I am still struggling with my weightloss journey but I am confident that I will do it... its alot of comfort to me to have this place to come to and share my feelings and have a safe place to come. I hope you post here often and chat with us.. we'd love to have you :)

Thanks for the welcome! I've never done this chat/forum thing so I hope I'm doing it right. I had a great day 1 on my diet program. Day 2 wasn't great because I made cookies for guests and couldn't stay away from them myself. But day 3 was better. I'm determined to keep trying, even after failure. Thanks for your support. It's great to know I'm not alone in this endeavor.

Thanks, Kat, for the welcome. It's great to have new friends and support in this weight loss thing. Sometimes it seems like all of the advertising and fast food and society are against us in succeeding. Just knowing other people are doing it, too really helps.

Hi Janet! I'm glad you came across this site. You must have your hands full with all those kids :) Since you lost weight after all the others, you already know you can do this.
