[.Rc was his love, his mate. the pair of vibrant ruby huen eyes returned abruptly back to hightower. the supple neck elongated and drifted rapidly to the earth - his blow had missed him. on nimble legs did the chestnut bronc 'scuttle' over the RC. a whicker poured from the teacup nose: RC, i must do this. the long and silken tail beat violently at the taunt haunches. dark grey clouds rolled quickly over head and with a lightning strike and booming thunder crack, rain began to pour heavily down. perfect. the muddier the better, it would hurt Hightower's footing - but pride himself was a mud-horse. with a high-ptiched squeal, which escaped the finely tuned vocals, the now mud splattered legs struck out in two-beat motion. one dagger like hoof struck something, crimson trickled over his hoof, he thought he might have hit the other's shoulder?.]
