Wow, I knew I wasn't the only one to endure such a terrible thing, but you do put it in persepctive for me. Thanks for helping me see that what my brother and I had was normal in so many ways. I guess the fact that I am gay sort of colors what happened and makes me think that maybe my brother was too. Or maybe its that I hope he was and loved me in the way I loved him. I think he did love me and he certainly enjoyed the touch and physical part of our love. I miss him but hold dear the love that we had.
I think you're right and I need to talk to my dad about the loss he feels and help him see that I am dealing with it. This shouldn't be a secret emotion thing for either of us.
