Something like that. I think this movie is more of an indie, low budget film. Probably has lots of dialog and not much action so it's quicker to make. Even though it has a lot of "star" power I'm guessing it's not classified as a blockbuster type film. Plus spring is not a release time for big movies. Maybe DD was just someone Steven Soderberg wanted to work with, or vice versa.
