is well-respected in Hollywood, especially by directors and producers who want an *intelligent* leading man!! However, you're probably right about it being more of an indie-type film. I'm not sure that DD's the kind of actor most studios look for if they want to make a mega-million dollar movie or bring out all the teens (the prime movie-going audience) to the local multiplex.
I wonder if "Full Frontal" will even play at the theaters in the relatively small city where I live? We tend to only get the movies that have broad, across-the-board appeal. For instance, I don't think "Memento" ever played in theaters here; I had to wait for it to come out on video.
