In reply to: Islandgirl 's message, "For a man who claims he wanted to put Mulder behind him. . ." on 20:22:01 07/19/03 Sat

After all, having played a character for 7.5 years with 175 filmed hours under his belt, nothing he can do will be new again.

Ira (Evolution) was nothing like Mulder in background and attitude, James Ellroy (MDP) is a real person who has nothing to do with Mulder either. The character from the video game suffers from complete amnesia.

What else should DD avoid, if he is supposed to do nothing that he already did as Mulder? Let's see, DD should avoid:

- Characters who wear suits (he shouldn't appear in SATC because he has to wear a suit there too)

- Characters who speak on cellphones (he shouldn't have done RTM, because Rob used one too)

- Characters who like to run and play basketball (he shouldn't have done Red Shoes Diaries either. Wait... he did RSD before he did TXF)

- Characters who like to watch TV

- Characters who are smart and have a sense of humor

- Characters whose parents die in their adult years

- Characters who work with women

- Charactes who work in a corporate enviroment and report to a superior

And I'm sure there are plenty of others things that Mulder has in common with and hundreds of other characters. It's seems it's time for DD to retire.
