It is sad. I actually thought that just maybe they would be one of the hollywood couples to make it. There are a few that do.

As for the kids, I am on the thinking that two happy seperated parents is healthier for kids than two miserable ones who live together. Unless there is serious social wrongs with one of the parents, they both can work together for the sake of the kids. My X and I get along pretty good - we work at it for our kids. I tease him a lot telling him he is a fantastic dad, too bad he was such a shitty husband....*smile*. We insist on having dinner together at least once a week, we often do things as a family (we still are) like football games or special places. Yes, he still frustrates me and I am reminded quite often WHY I LEFT HIM....LOL, but he is a good dad and respects me as the mother of his children. What a better lesson can we give our kids?

As for the DD and TL, we have not read any bad press of police having to visit - no emergency court sessions with restraining orders being placed. Instead while DD was in recovery, TL supported her family by keeping quiet - didnt she issue a press release saying she supported him? They did the best thing for their kids so there is no reason it could not continue.

I knew it was just a matter of time before Madonna and Guy Ritchie split!
