Yes, I have been through this guys site and others which are similar. His explanations of contradictions issues are typical apologetic wishful thinking inventing and imagining metaphors and narratives which simply don't exist. He also did a review of Dennis' book which I informed Dennis he should sue him for slander and lies. While his site may be heaven sent to many apologists and believers to those of us who know better he is quite a fool. It's a simple fact the Bible has contradictions, many of them, the contradictions exist for various reasons one cannot merely explain away by mistranslating Hebrew and thinking words are ambiguous when they mean specific and exact things. When backed into a corner apologists will insist on reading the passage as metaphor or in a symbolic sense, a poor excuse that does not fly with learned scholars on the matter. The Bible has specific things which are obvious metaphor such as when it describes metaphoric beasts with various numbers of horns and body parts like dragons, lions, bears, lambs, etc. Most of these are found in Daniel and Revelation, some in Ezeikiel. They are quite obvious to even the least intelligent person, the majority of the Bible is not metaphor or symbolic it is historical account of the Hebrew's and the stories of the Jesus character in the NT. When the Bible speaks of mythological animals such as unicorns, flying dragons, flying firey serpents, talking donkeys, talking snakes, satyrs, and such they are quite serious and really believed and thought these things existed. They also thought the world flat and that the sun and planets went around the earth. They had no ideas of science or actual facts, they were superstitious and believers in magic and supernatural things. The Hebrew desert tribes were no group of incredibly wise and profound people they were rather primitive and pale in comparision to many other ancient texts and cultures by far.

Those suffering from intense religious delusion will see different words and change the meaning of the words in their mind as they read them, I have seen it so many times. I have seen so called long lists of prophecies pertaining to Jesus claimed by Christian's which make no sense, they are not prophecy at all. There is a specific list of messianic prophecies the Jews have used for nearly 2,200 years since before Jesus, this is what they created the idea of the messiah from, a set list of events and actions the messiah would do upon his arrival, none of these have come to pass, Jesus did not fullfill any of them, and Christian's ignore them and try and make up their own, which are incoherent and leave any Jewish/Hebrew scholar scratching their head in wonderment how insane these people must be to think such things. Jesus is not the Jewish messiah because he did not do what the messiah was to do, also what the Christian's claim is the highest blasphemy to God and no Jew can accept it. This is why the Jews do not believe and cannot. Of course many of them have been duped like others but the matter is merely a notion of the intelligence of the person, if they know little of Judaism and its teachings and are not really practicing learned Jews then they will not know the issues at hand.

There are specific reasons why there are contradictions in the Bible which cannot be resolved by any means of falsely creating additional narrative and stories to attempt to explain them. The Jewish texts in the OT are combined texts from different tribal sources mainly the Israel and Judah, between these texts there are differences which cannot be resolved. In one God is El, El Shaddai, and Elohim and the Holy mountain is Horeb, the other he is Yahweh or YHWH and the Holy mountain is Sinai. There are numerous other differences between the two which create many of the contradictions. The NT has numerous problems comparing book to book and often within the same book due to its various edits and authors over the centuries and its biggest contradiction is that it is a lie, it has nothing to do with Judaism whatsoever. Christian apologists actually think they can quote from their own texts and that somehow proves they are correct, everything they claim and state contradicts with the Jewish texts. Their imaginations does not make the issue go away. So many times I have heard false statements and claims which might trick the average person who has no knowledge of the matter. When each matter is investigated they fall apart, it is a lie, an invention, a fabrication, Christianity claims things no Jew living or dead can accept or believe because it is blasphemy to all things Judaic. The messiah is not what Christian's believe, he never was, the Greek/Roman gentiles created a god from a man and placed him along side God as a divine immortal creature, this is not who and what the Jewish messiah is and it is the upmost blasphemy to the Jewish God.

People can and will believe what they wish, and they will convince themself of it no matter what they have to ignore and distort to do so. The truth is not for everyone, it is seldom what people wish it to be.

Best Wishes
