The underground meeting room was surprisingly bright, lit by a various array of candles. Sol couldn't help but look in awe at the odd array of people who where assembled in the small space.

"So this is the newbie," an old man wearing a scarf and baggy oldschool ninja clothes. His eyes where deep jade with black hair lined with grey streaks. His outfit seemed to be worn and torn from years of experience.

"Quiet Cid, he's not a newbie. Just new to our group. He's a pro in combat! Didn't you see the way he handled those guards the other day? That was amazing," Jam chimed, sitting down in her chair and crossing her legs.

"Thas nuff," Hugo said, crossing his arms, "anyway, back to business. Our mission this time oughta be an easy one with the boy here helpin' us out. We're gonna take down Ikek once an' for all this time,"

Rantz shook his head and sighed. "You say that every time we go out on a mission," he said, doubtfully. Rantz was a short man in stature, but always stepped up in a fight. Most of his eyes where covered by a large headband which made his hair stick up and fall over it in large strands and spikes. His blade as kept secret, as it was hidden in his sleeve

"Shaddap, kid, I'm serious this time! You ever hear of the GreyWolf shipping yards? Well, it don't matter if ya have or not cause we're headed there for this mission. Word has it that there's a large central nervous system for the entire Ikek millitary office. If we can detonate a bomb, it'll set off a chain reaction and blow up every sinble millitary post in the entire city!" Hugo shouted, gettin excited and swinging his arms around.

"Really...? And just what kind of danger factor is there for this level of mission, Hugo?" Johnny asked, sitting on the desk in the far corner of the room, nearly asleep.

"Danger? There aint no danger with professionals like us on the job!" Hugo yelled, growling and shaking his fist. The group seemed rag-tag enough, but Sol wasn't convinced that he'd be able to get along with everyone. The whole situation seemed fishy to him, but he was gettin paid 10,000 credits to go along so he figured he might as well.

"Johnny, I need to use your new Type-7 bomb for this job, if we pull it off, the other Revolutionaires will handle the overthrowing part, with our help," Hugo laughed out loud in a deep voice.

"Rest up, you bums, we got a big day ahead of us tomorrow, we gotta run downtown to pick up some information from an agent who's gonna tell us some important stuff! So don't be up too late,"

Rantz shook his head and strode over to Sol. "Hey, don't let Hugo's rantings cloud your head. We're not as good as he makes us out to be. To tell the truth, we probably wouldn't be able to complete a mission like this without yah," he said, flopping down in a beanbag chair.

"Hey that's right, your the best of the best, don't look so down all the time," Jam said warmly. Getting up, she dusted herself off and stepped onto the lift, "I've got some work to do, I'll see you guys in the morning,"

Johnny smirked, "She always goes off to god knows where at all hours of the night. Y'know, it sort of incriminates her," he said, pulling his hat down over his eyes and crossing his legs as he slid down, resting his hands behind his head.'

"Ever the paranoid one, eh Johnny?" Cid smirked, stepping onto the lift. "I'm, going to get some sleep, not gonna disapoint the boss, you kids better do the same."

Rantz sighed looking up. "What was it...we where trying to acomplish through all our hardships, again?" he asked, almost to himself.

"Freedom from oppression and our own will. Ikek's turned this city into a slum of nothing, they tax us like the government and put us down, that's why we're here. You should know, Rantz, you where one of the founders of the Legionaires," Johnny said without looking up, nearly dozing off.

"I guess..." Rantz shook his head, getting up. "But I woner sometimes..." he said, stepping onto the lift. "See you guys tomorrow, Hugo doesn't like to be kept waiting.

Sol couldn't help but wonder about the whole situation. He'd just arrived in this city a week ago and was already being plunged into their problems. What was it to him, though? He'd be gone in two weeks, returning back hom to St. Lucia. His beloved St. Lucia, the port city. His home. Yet, he quickly shook off the romantic thoughts.

"Hey..." Johnny said from underneath his hat, "where do you think Jam goes off to?" he asked, sliding his foot up and down.

Sol only stared into space, not really listening. These matters didn't really concern him, but they did if they where to jeapordize the mission. He didn't really feel like dying because of some stupid girl's business.

"Well, think we should go investigate? That's your job, isn't it? To investigate our problems and help us out? Right, that's the spirit, I'll be waiting oustside," Johnny said with a voice that seemed to have been just woken up. He leapt from his relaxed position to the lift, jumpin over Sol.

The air outside was damp, as the night had come on swiftly, as it usually did in the wasteland city. Sol quickly shook it off as Johnny jumped down from the roof to meet him. He nodded in the direction he'd spotted Jam moving in and took off at a quick pace without any words.

Johnny's black trenchcoat and black brimmed leather hat seemed to blend perfectly in the dark, aside from his bright golden belt. Sol's faded brown cloak, however, seemed to stand out as the two made their silent way acros the scrap filled city.

"Listen, this woman goes out every single night withou telling anybody where she's going, sneaking out after dark is a major no-no in this city, accorind to Ikek laws and such. So if we're caught, there'll be hell to pay. Like about thirty armed guards trying to take us out," Johnny said, skimming the wall of a delapidated building, followed quickly by Sol.

As the two crept along, the came across a very peculiar sight. Jam was speaking with an older man, probably forty or fifty, and seemed to be keeping a low profile.

"Who's...that guy?" Johnny asked, almost expecting Sol to be able to answer him. Sol only shook his head and sighed as Johnny looked on with suspicion.

As Johnny bobbed his head up and down so as not to be seen, his foot slipped and hit a can, which slid across the floor, knocking over a large pile of scrap which fell over, knocking the support beams brom the top of the outer deck of the house, forcing Johnny and Sol to jump for their lives from the protection of the dark.

As luck would have it, a small troop of guards where passing by and noticed the confusion. "Hey you!" The lead guard shouted as the two picked themselves up from the wreckage.

"Who...us?" Johnny asked in a maniacal tone, brushing himself off. Sol hopped to his feet as well and shook his head in disgust of Johnny's antics, which had landed them in heap of trouble.

"You...you dare defy US?" One guard shouted, shaking his guard spear and gloating a bit. Johnny chuckled a bit, as he adjusted his hat.

One guard charged without any command, obviously angered at Johnny's words, of who, Johnny sidestepped and elbowed in the back of the head. "Neeeeext?" Johnny laughed in a sarcastic tone.

Jam sighed as she turned around, only to have her eyes widened. Immediately, she rushed up to the group. "What the hell are you guys doin here?" she yelled, angrily.

"We where about to ask you the same thing," Johnny said, popping his neck. As the two bickered back and forth, Sol took matters into his own hands and rushed the guards. A roundhouse connected with the first and the second was knocked out by a powerful blow to the lower jaw.

Picking up one guard, he slammed him into another flicking up the firsts heels to knock out a second. Throwing the first down, he slammed his knee down on his back, snapping it. As the other guards looked on in terror, the head guard growled, popping his neck.

"Alright, bums, shows over, come with us or die," he snarled, flinging a large Head Guardman's sword from it's sheath. Sol smirked, slinging his large sword it's place. The triangle blade was large and black, with red lining with a long handle which meant it was supposed to be a two handed sword, but often times Sol would use it with one.

Swiftly, the two engaged eachother, exchanging blows. Sol grunted as he brought his sword down across the head guard's shoulder, taking off a large flap of skin and armour. He groaned in pain as Sol brought his sword down a second time, gashing the wounded soldier across the chest. As the guard fell to his knees in pain, he kicked the poor man to the ground, sheathing his sword.

Swiftly he walked back to the group and nodded. Jam couldn't help but not be angry, until she turned around to find the old man had vanished. She sighed, turned, and began to walk slowly back to the headquarters.

"Hey, Jam, what the hell was this all about...hey, are you listening to me? JAM!" Johnny uproared, shaking his fist. Sol shrugged as he passes by Johnny to walk next to Jam. Johnny couldn't help but drop his head down low. Of course, he picked up and caught up with the group as they made the treck back to the base.
