stuck in Earth relm trying to retireve second fire power -- Azurik-Game Ideas and Suggestions

Subject: stuck in Earth relm trying to retireve second fire power

In the Earth relm I activated the drills, went behind the fire wall, retrieved the second fire power tried to exit the same fire wall using water power the same as when I went in and it wont let me out. The wall doesn't disappear and their is no other way to get out of this spot without using cheats. If I use cheats then I cannot get the trolly to go back up and I know I'll need to get down here again sometime.
Help!! Is their a different water power I am to use to get out?
