To defeat the Fire Guardian, use lava power against him. You fight him for three rounds, good luck (it took me a while). To get into the Air Realm, you can either go through the spaceship which appears (after you defeat the Fire, Water, and Earth guardians) or if you've already activated the four smaller crystals, you can get there through the great tree in the Earth Realm by playing the right song on the giant crystal in front of the doorway to the great tree.

Forgot to mention spaceship appears in the water realm where the whirlpool used to be.

There are three ways to get to the realm of Air. The first way is when you defeat the Water Guardian the Whirl Pool is fixed and a air ship is there.

The second way is when you have activated all the crystals in the earth realm you acitivate a tree lift that leads you to the part of the air realm where the air guardian is.

The thrid and easieist is use the cheat code to move between levels. I find it is not as much fun when you do that. Actually it is thanks to Rick that i passed this bit. My mum and I could'nt find the fourth crystal.

This is what you do. First, activate the Ice power (BGA) and whack one of the tentacles. Then quickly switch to the Steam power (RB) and whack it again. You have to do this three times to each tentacle. It is wise to first defeat the water elementals wandering around.

you beat the water gaurdian by freezing her tenacols then you thawing them out with your steam her tenacols will gradualy get smaller.

to get the fire power 2.
Im pretty sure you have to go to the earth relm, turn on the two carts, and go down the one closest to the ground, then you must defeat every one of the creatures in the place, note that whenever you kill a couple creatures, a key becomes available to you. After that you use the keys you get to start up the drills, then going through there you get the fire power, you will also get a little surprise in the one of the drills you can start.

Ok, so, ya wanna find the water guardian?? Quite simple really. Ok, well, ya know the big arch that you swim through to take you to the Stormy Waters part of the water realm?? Well, if ya don't, its a big stone thing that has the water symbol on it off in the ocean. Swim towards it, but don't go through it. Now, turn around, and dive a bit. You should swim to the area where the periscope is. The periscope is quite hard to see above water, but just look for the pole underwater and the glass dome. Now, don't dive any further, but look around the dome. On the wall of the valleyish thing, there will be a seal that looks like the water disk, kinda. swim rite up to it, and WALLLLLLLLLAH!

You need to kill the water guardian, once you kill her the whirlpool in water realm is gone and a airship is theie. go inside the airship a fight balthazar, hint when he activates armor swicth to diffirent power. once you kill, or should i say knockout, go on the the circle in the middle of the ship and use the button, you'll be transported to the air rleam and can go to differnt part air realm or back down to the water realm.

Hi

I was fighting the fire guardian and had defeated him the second time. After I did, I saw him below on a platform and so I went in the dooorway and I slid down the ramp. I came down to the bottom of the ramp and the fire guardian was there .. we battled and then he killed me.

I went through the second battle again and defeated him but this time I decided to save my spot before I slid down the ramp(cheat). When I got down there.. no fire guardian. Also there is no way of getting out of there. The only thing I could do is jump into the lava and die .. problem is .. I go back to the same save spot at the top of the ramp...

How do I delete the last couple saves I have done? I have tried everything. If I don't figure this out my hours of playing are in vain!

If you know another way please let me know!

I just did the exact same thing last night. I unless you found another way, I am going to try to use a cheat code to get back to town. That seems the safest, since I have no idea what or where the other "levels" go. I just hope that it works, since I made the mistake of saving on one of the platforms in the three moving platform rings. The only problem with that save is that the platform isn't ther when you reappear.

the solution is easy,here it is: Type in this cheat, Both sticks towards each other
Both sticks away from each other
Press A , Then B
Click right stick down
Click left stick down
Now LEVEL/POWER/MOVIE SELECT will appear on the screen,select level with the start button and go to the last fire level,you will reappear at the last save switch just before you fight the Fire Guardian.

just a few pointers regarding beating balthazar... use different powers when his armor is different colors (it takes forever to kill him if u dont do this... in fact i never have killed him w/out doing this)when his armor is:

red use water
blue use wind (earth+air)
yellow use acid (earth+water)
green use lava (earth+fire)

after you hit him with an element combination that is strong against him he will change his armor to the color that that element combination is weak against. anticipate this and change your power while he changes his armor. example: if his armor is red and you hit him with water he will change his armor to blue, while he does this change to your wind power (earth+air). he will probably not have much of a chance to even attack you if you do this properly. it takes a while to get hang of what powers to use but you'll get it eventually.

your elemental powers will probably run out pretty quickly (especially water and earth). dont worry, there is a multicolored globe behind one of the machines along the edge that will replenish all of your elements. get it when one of your elements runs out. one last word of advice... use a smash shield (water+earth+fire). you should be able to beat him without getting hurt if you use this shield and jump whenever he jumps (if you dont jump when he jumps the shockwave caused when he lands may hurt you). dont let your shield drop and you'll do fine.

try not to use cheats or codes to beat balthazar... they really take a lot away from the game. if you do the things above he is actually quite easy to defeat. good luck!

hey, i've beaten the game without using any cheats besides the save cheat. i even have unlocked every obsidian powerup. the thing is, it says i've collected 103 obsidians... not 100. i have never used the gem/obsidian cheat. are there really more than 100 obsidians in the game?

This one is a toughie. Somewhere towards the acid rock in the Electrical Forest there is a structure that has a cable evtending from it. It is over by the silver teleporer, if you have activated it. Jump on, and you will be hooked onto the cable and slide down to a platform. There should be another cable leading to a cave here. In the center of the cave there is a big series of platforms going up and down. Use your air powerto jump from the top of the platform's altitude onto the ring aroung it, then use it again to jump onto the one above it. Eventually you will get to the top. Look around and you will see the Earth power. Use your air power yo get over to it. When activated, it will produce armor (this is the basic armor. I don't use it much anymore, but you might want to try it out.) that protects you from basic attacks. Now, if you need help getting to the aforementioned silver teleporter, there are three keys in this area you need to find. If you can't find them, don't worry. Neither could I at first.

I'm trying to find the second fragment of the water disc. It says to go to a small canyon and fire a torpedo. But I can't find the small canyon anywhere in the water realm. I've looked for it in the water but can't find it. It's not the same one by the stormy part of the water realm (under the arch), is it? If anyone can help me, be as specific as possible as to how to find it.

I am trying to get the 2nd fire power. When I went to town, they said to return to the EARTH realm to get the second fire power. However, on the website it says that the 2nd fire power is located in the fire realm. Which is correct? Where exactly do I go to get the 2nd fire power?

I got down in the deserted mines in the bucket, but when i try to take it up again, the game gets stuck. I can only see a stone wall with a crack, but I can not move or make any actions. Is there any other way out of this?

Same problem, and no matter which way i come back to it using the go anywhere cheat the same thing happens again and again, DOH! Have you figured this out yet?

I entered the variuos cheats found on this site. After doing this i no longer have control of fighting or jumping. The wierd thing is I can still walk around ok. Is there a way to fix this? Also i entered the big head code and now the charachter in my other file has a big head as well, what can i do to solve this problem? Is there some way to turn off these codes?

Damn this is tough! I need a location where I can use the invincable cheat. I've tried to enable it on numerous occasions, with no luck. I need guidance to beat Balthazar. Ive pinned him against the wall and beat on him as best I could, but I don't last long enough to take him out. Thanks!!

If this is the brige to get the fire disk then I'm the guy you need. There is 2 ways of doing this; 1)you can melt the ice block where the two ice platforms are(that will take steam blade 2 -water 2 and fire 2)or you can use your air power 1,2, or 3 to fly up the ice.

In the Earth relm I activated the drills, went behind the fire wall, retrieved the second fire power tried to exit the same fire wall using water power the same as when I went in and it wont let me out. The wall doesn't disappear and their is no other way to get out of this spot without using cheats. If I use cheats then I cannot get the trolly to go back up and I know I'll need to get down here again sometime.
Help!! Is their a different water power I am to use to get out?

I'm at a loss here. I've already won this game once, but on my second time playing, I went down to the life realm with all three life disk fragments (disk shows as 3/4 complete and verified), but when I step on the portal, nothing happens - no message saying I need more fragements (which I don't), but there is still a force-field keeping me from entering. Is this a bug?

Any help would be appreciated!

I am sooo frustrated.I d.l. a walkthrough for Azurik.I am now trying to kill the water guardian.However in reading over my info and checking out the internet,I should have more than 3/4 of a water disc,1/2 earth and 1/4 life.I dont know how I made it this far.Can anybody out there give this go ..go..granny some advice on what to do.You can not kill the H2O Guardian (it appears) without the discs etc.Please dont say start over....it took me forever to get across the spinning platformsI have gone back exploring and found places I didnt know were even in the game.

you have to kill the tentacles first. use the ice power (water-air-earth, i think) to freeze them, and then quickly use the steam power on them (water-fire). i think you have to repeat it three times each tentacle. then she dies. sound simple but it's not. hope this helps, and hope it's not too late.

I took the trolley cart down in the earth realm and left it there,but im in a different area and need to backtrack to get the third piece of the life disk and bring the trolley cart back up.How do I get there or do this??????

without cheating? i dunno. but you can go basically anywhere using the following cheat.... :

If you don't want to cheat you can jump into the digger that goes to the three conveyour belts... jup into the opening at the far side and you'll come to the place where the eart power was.. then you can get to the mine-cart

I just have a couple of simple questions. When do I use the Azurik cheat codes? Do I quickly use the combinations, such as God or Gem mode, the instant the game console is turned on (when the X-box logo is appearing) or is there a certain point when the game's loading that i do this? Can I use these codes on a game that's already saved or do i have to start a new game? Because experts say to use this these codes during gameplay. Define "during Gameplay". Can I be playing a game in progress and use the codes, too, or does it depend on the code?

The first obsidial for the Earth Realm shows a need for Electro Shield 3 to get to it. First off, some bug had me getting through with level 2 ;) Don't know how...

But an easier, and eariler, way to get it is this. Stand at the base of the pedestal it's standing on. Then, if you have Air Power 2, jump, then hit your wings twice as you reach the top of your jump. If done right, Azurik will grab onto the ledge and climb up, then exclaim, "Obsidian!". It might take a few times, I don't know... it worked the first time for me :D

i've got the walk through for azurik and i'm in the part of the earth realm with the spotlights you have to point at the globes, but i just cant get through the blue doors to the lift that should take me to the air realm! i dont know if i need to hit the crystal or something. i dont know the combinations to do that anyway.
how do i get past the blue doors and into the air realm?!!

Is there any way to see wich obsidians you haven't got? I have a list of all them I got from some site, but it's REALLY boring to go look for them when you don't know wich ones you've already taken. You have to find all of the samll crystals before you can activate the big one.. play the game as it's supposed to be played, and don't cheat so much =)

If you've got air power 3 it's actually possible to fly to the island with he end of the air tube connected to it, from one of the smokestacks.. you wont make it one the first try though...
if you want to cheat you can quick-save in the air above the island, that way you wont die from the fall..
I'ts doable without cheating, but it's very hard.

Go to the town. There, go to the fire realm. Walk along the elevated area until you see a dark opening, which you should walk through. You are now in the Fire Guardian Area! On either side of the acid rocks, there are ramparts. You can either jump the ramparts to the power or do itlike it was intended and flip a switch somewhere.

You can find it by activating all four small crystals in the Earth realm, thenriding a Scooper to another area where you will find a big crystal. Hit it so the tunes from all 4 small ones combune and a door will open into the Air realm.

The third Fire Power can be obtained one of two ways. One is to find a switch and flip it which brings the arm down, so you can easily get it. However, I got up on the rampart next to the arm and used the Air power to get over there (2nd one). Although the first one is suggested, you can get the power much earlier if you do it the second way.

There is another switch you have to flip which coats the second one in snow, making it easier to walk upon. I can't remember where it is offhand, but I'm sure you'll find it eventually.....

Go to the beach area of the water realm, to the place underwater with the water disk seal--the one you took to get the water guardian. In the same place there is another tube that will take you to the top of the center building in the pod place.

This game is way sick man! It is the hardest game I have played since the FF's. It's fun cause of the challenge, but too hard to stay interested in. They could of made it to where you did not have to have pen point accuracy on all your jumps and puzzle solving tech's.

How do I get onto the conveyer belts that go opposite directions? I see the hole in the wall but when I try to get on the belt it acts as though there is a force field or sometning i.e. it kinda knocks me off. I think I'm going for the fourth small crystal which I really need to progress. I'd appriciat any help.

u need at least on air power maybe more (i did it with two so i dunno) to jump and fly from rock to rock and then to the opening. it leads to an earth seal or a forcefield to the second earth power. u need two air powers and two fire powers to get past the force field. hope this helps

I just entered the life realm and made it to the top of the second ramp where you need a key. I can't make the jump across to the rotating platform- I always fall short. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Unfortunately, I did the same thing not quite as far in as you, but still far in. I had to start over. The only thing you may want to try is a area change cheat, if it works while you are falling to your death.

You have to. There is nothing you can do now except try to get back on.

I think you are all wrong - try the cheat code that allows you to jump to another level - try using f1 then f2, etc until you find the right level

Tough Luck! I made the same mistake. The only way you can go on is to restart the level and DON'T TRY TO QUICKSAVE ON MOVING OBJECTS!!!!

Don't use quick save cheat until you're completely across. If you do you're dead and will have to use a cheat code to restart level f4 all over again

I need to get in the dome to fire a torpedo at the gaint pillar, So i dive in the water and swim into the hole in a small canyon, at the end, I dive up and now i'm standing before a door wigh I can't pass cause of the electric thingies. At the other side i see the lock or something were I need to put the white key in... How do i get in the dome? plz help me

If you have downloaded a game the you need to burn it onto a cd with a CD writer.
You also need your ps2 chiped to play the game

What exactly does the God mode cheat code do to Azurik? What are the limitations? When exactly do i enter the code, is it before the game credits come up (before the options of starting the game or play demos) or can I use it while game is in progress? Experts say when using the gem code, there will be an option screen so u can get as many gems and obsidians as i need. Is this info correct and if not, when EXACTLY do i enter this code? What should be on the screen when doing the combinations? Describe in detail what i should be looking for if entered correctly.

well, i'm in the water realm trying to get into a dome so that i can shoot a torpedo to the beach. the only problem is that i found the dome and the little canyon that goes under the dome, however in the doorway there's a purple electricity-looking barrier stopping me. i have water, fire, and air powers (all level 1 powers). how do i get through the purple electricity barrier?

You have to use water, fire, and air power to get and electric shield. Then just walk through.

There is another way down to the bottom of the pulley car in the Earth realm. You know the room in the Earth realm where there are three conveyor belts side by side, and you have to jump from one to the next? (Walk-through 5, step 51). There is an entrance to the desert realm (with all of the conveyor belts) from this room which puts you at the bottom of the pulley car...

The car is at the bottom and I can't get down that way. I tried (numerous ways) to jump onto the conveyer belts, but for some reason it's like there is a force field around it and I can't get on. I need the third disk fragment. What do I do?

Ok, firstly, this is the 2nd worse game I have ever played. After getting stuck in the earth realm 8 months ago, I had given up, but last week found a whole bunch of cheats and finally I was able to fly up that damn high edge and keep playing.
Now in the final level of the game with all 6 keys of the death realm, I have no idea where the upper level is. Can anyone help before I never play another game in my life? Someone please email me before I lose the plot.

There are 2 ways to defeat him:
-you must attack him by using various powers just before you attack him(just like this:he has a lavashield and right before you strike him you use water power.
-you can also just try to once you hit him just keep hitting him(against the wall perhaps)so he can't run away.

well, i dont think there is a code but the 20 cores took me about a 30 min, just have patience, try to miss the lights that kill you and just cruise around the sphere till u get em all, if you have a problem with hitting the lights just hit i think its x when you think your about to hit one them, then go back in in a few sec when u think the light is gone, thats the best i can tell u on the cores, good luck!

I went down the first pulley and activated the crystal. However, I left the area through the machine and can't get back down because the pulley is still down in the cave.

its actually kinda easy, there are 3 slides going down, if u dont know what i'm talking about, this area has 4 levels, u start on the second, there there is an elevator going to the 3rd and 4th
to get to the 1st level u must use a rope and then a slide, the rope leads u to the slide, and to get to it u must come outside the main structure and walk around until u find a switch, there also will be a rope to slide down....turn on the switch and side down....
there will be a puzzle u have to solve...
to get the air power all u have to do is slide down from the third level, its the very last piece on the slide, if u miss it just do the slide again

the third water power is in fact not in this portion of the air realm, it is in the section of the air realm which reach only after getting balthazar to dissappear in the space craft in your first meeting. I still haven't solved the puzzle to receive it. But from the other description I was confused.

There should be two keys to put in the machine on the cliff. From the machine go back into the cave you came out of. From there I don't know which key you have. Get into the lift looking thing after you leave the cave. For the first key if you don't already have it, (you probably do its easy) just jump off really early onto the first cliff on your left, there will be a monster and a circle of pillars. for the second key ride the lift until it is about to open and jump forward. You will see an opening and the key will be outside, (its all just above a gear hole on the ground) put both keys in the machine on the cliff and the conveyor belt will start.

you have to jump on the things that move around on cables and when it stops next to a platform jump off quikly or you will be killed there is a key on the platform
then where you first enter the realm and there is goblins and a big hole with a grinder go to the right of the grinder next to the canyon and go to the wall in front of you then use the air power to fly down to a platform with a tree , go along the platform and there is the second key in a ring of statues. look to the right and there in a conveyor belt fly down onto the conveyor belt and climb over the rocks and into the tunnel when you get to the last rock jump onto the ladder and go up there is a big level with machinery on it look for another ladder and climb up then use the keys

Hey dude, this is chuck. I read your little article about Azurik. I thought it was hella funny. I started to play it, and i got kind of far. I ad accuired the first element, water, and i had to run all the way around back and forth to put out that damn fire. Well it just so happens i never saved and i died. After that happened once more i put the game down and haven't played it until this site. I know how you feel dude. I activated those 2 machines on either side of the conveyor belt and found out they dont make the conveor belt move. My new problem is that I cant figure out where my 1 missing piece of the water disc is can anyone tell me where they all are so i can go and check the places and find it so i can get to the water guardian???

Use the Smash attack, its a three button powerup, It opposite the lightning powerup.

Use ice to freeze her tentacles and steam to thaw and break them. Each time you do that the tentacle gets shorter. If you get caught in a bubble use your smash power to get out.

I am at a loss as to how to get to the rocks after you jump the 3 rotating platforms and then go up to the path via the geyser. Jumping those platforms takes me forever also. I don't know where or how to get to the rocks across the way. Any help have been at it for 2 hours

I did the triple jump at the huge torch, turned the valve, rode the platform and got in the cave on the left, activated the switch then went back out the cave and got down and jumped in the hole. It takes me to a geyser that puts me on top of a pipe with lave going thru on one side but not the other. Where do I go from here? Seems like a dead end.

I am stuck here also. YOu are supposed to jump to the rocks on the other side and then to the zip line and save point. I can't figure out how to get to the rocks.

the first three fire disk fragments are:
1. at the top of the volcano which you get to through the desert in the earth realm
2. in the desert, use earth power level two to break the rocks above the entrance to the main desert area
3. in the water realm, in the ice area you have to climb the ice bridges to the top

I've reached a large cavern with three drills and successfully activated each of them. One cavern leads to a temple with a wall a fire that I cannot pass (even with the water power). Another cavern leads to a pitch black room where I have to use the fire power to light my way across a narrow twisty bridge. On the other side is a room but I can't do anything there. How do I proceed?

The first level Earth Power in the Electric Forest. You get to the Electric Forest from the Fire realm. Use the three keys that are all within a few feet of each other and this opens the door to the Electric Forest. You have to wind yourself around a long ways to get the power but here is what to look for. There is a save point and after this save point is a single floating platform which is not moving...later you will get back to this same platform but this time it will be moving up and down. Once you go up this platform the Earth Power will be nearby (down the path a bit).

i don't know how far u are but u need two air powers and two fire powers to get it. go to the machine that takes u to the conveyer belts with rocke that go oppisite directions. use the air power to jupm from rock to rock and then to the opening. save and take the left fork up the stairs and to a force field. equip the electro shield (air+fire) and walk through. use the air power to jump to the second earth power. hope this helps

If you shot the torpedo and hit the big column swim or jump past the column and you'll come out on the ledge that you can see from the city the fragment is there. chas

I have been in the fire realm for days now. I skipped over the earth realm and jumped right into the fire realm after exploiting the water realm. Does anyone know how I can get back out of this God forsaken realm?

I don't want to have to use all the cheats just to get out of this place. I would like to fight fair and square, but this place is a dang maze.

Whenever I got lost in the fire realm I always tried to head up hill since it seems you are constantly working your way down into it. You might want to try that. Other than that, without knowing exactly where you are, I am at a loss to explain exactly how to get out.

Grr! I'm really stuck in the fire realm - when you first enter the Tower Room, where the Save and the Oracle are. I need to get from that room, into the maze, to find the Fire Tower Keys.
I have read a few walkthroughs, but they aren't very clear. So far I have figured out how to get up on the cliff, on the right side of the area. I can get past the gate, and to the area where there is a big lava pit (where you need to use the Earth Fragments to open a demon's mouth)
Can anyone help?

Go to the second floor of the temple (main palace) and you will see different objects being enclosed in a purple force shield. go around and click X on each one until you see which one you can get with ten obsidians.

in the temple there are two tube like things coming from thr ceilin that u can get under. they are elevators that take u to the second floor.

Look for a small canyon near the dome and swim into it. Here you find a small air pocket. Climb into it to get inside the dome.

Equip you Electro Shield (fire & air),to walk through the barrier then use the key you got from the dock to lower the ladder to get up inside the dome. Fight the Overlords and use the periscope to aim at the large pillar with the symbol on top.

i just did that today. theres a crack somewhere around the dome that u can swim into that leads to a whole in the bottom of the dome u can swim up through. u need two fire powers and two air powers to get through the sheild though. hope this helps

In going back to the volcano area for the third life disk, the mine car in the earth realm is missing. The area where its supposed to be is just a huge hole with a pole that the car used to ride on. Is there another way to get down there to get the disk or is that even the right area?

Ok, just got stuck in the 2nd part of the air realm and need some help. Made it to the area where there are 3 tubes that move from floating platforms with ladders to floating islands with ice on top of them. When I first got there I did not have 3rd level fire power. I could not get out of there so I used the swich level cheat and went back to find the fire power. After finding it I returned to the area, went to the ladders, used them to swing to the platforms and melt the ice. The problem is that the first tube (the one I already used) is no longer swinging. How do I get to the floating island to melt the ice and get the third air power. Has anyone else ran across this glitch?

You will need the second air and fire powers to be able to de-activate the force/electric shield. If you have those: Go to the machine, face the conveyor belts, and the big open area, go left through the pathway. If you went to the right place, you should see two thin pillars with a board on top. (it looks like the lower half of an "H". (the horizontal line and the lower vertical lines are there, but the upper verticals aren't.) Using air power, jump onto the vertical line/ board. When there, jump onto the pathway that is surrounded by another cave and the electrical shield. Use the electric shield (Fire + Air) to go through the force shield. Go through the entrance. You will end up on a ledge. Across of the ledge that you are currently standing on, you will see another ledge containing the second earth power. Jump across to it. Flap your wings when you do. By doing this, you will have the second earth power.

The same thing happened to me a couple of days ago. I heard that you need air power 2 at least to be able to get up. If you don't, you could use the "go anywhere" to get air power 2 or 3. You can just do it again later to continue your game normally. Stand directly underneath the entrance hole, activate you air power (jump shield), jump on the hightened terrain that is located to your left, and from there on, jump and flap your wings to get up.

Simply combine Earth and Water to get the acid power to melt the rocks. It may not work if you don't have the level of each poer as indicated by the dots under the symbol.

I put it in the one to the right after the save platform and now I can't get the third key. I simply go up to the top where the air seal is.

Well,you could use the invincible code, beat his butt, then re-enter the same code to take the cheat off and play normally.
Make sure that you equip a shield so you don`t take as much damage if you go it straight though.
Other than that I think it is just a matter of slugging it out and trying to last longer than he does.

I just fought him without using any of my powers...it was easier because he kept adjusting his armor to match my power. Try to always stay on right on him because if you give him room to breath he will nail you.

From the village you take one of the bridges. It's a complete bridge (no jump required), and you see no fire curtain before you cross. The door is on the right once you've crossed. There's also an obsidian on a rock on the left. Hope this is clear!

I have 3 fire powers and 2 for each of the others, i have the fire and earth disk complete. I have 3 water fragments, 1 air, 1 life. i am stuck, been underwater to the blue hole in the wall near the big gate to the water realm and it wont let me in, i have been everywhere i can think of to go. I would appreciate it if someone told me where to go. The helper thing in the tower in town says i need to go to the air realm in search of my final water power but i need three air fragments to go on, and i only have one.

You need 3 Water Disc Fragments to get to the Water Guardian, not 3 Water Powers. If you have 3 pieces of the Water Disc you can get in the Iris opening and fight the boss.

I need help to get across the moving platforms in the fire realm (through to switch in middle structure). I'm hesitant to quick save on the platforms (I don't want to lose my game!). Is there any way to make this part easier (cheats, trick)? Any suggestion would be appreciated!

I used the quick save cheat (white,up,down,down,up..) thingy which i have been using every once and a while when i wasn't near a save point. I took the pulley in the earth realm down to the 'desert place' or whatever it is. Then i got on the little hanging car then jumped off onto the conveyer belt that went across a ways later. I had to go do something so i used the save anywhere cheat while i was by the rocks that you could climp on. I read that you should never use this cheat while you're on something that moves or it would really screw up your game. It wasn't moving so i thought it wouldn't be a problem. Now everytime i start my game, Azurik is continuously trying to walk one way, which is toward me. I can't stop him completely, but when i move around the right throttle that stops him, but when i dont hold or press anything he keeps moving in the direction toward me. I can't play the game like this and it's too late to start over, that'ss the last thing I'd wanna do. I really need help! So if you can help me please reply!

Rick, is there anyone that can help me?! I just received Air Power 2. I went back to the platform and saved the game. I went forward and jumped the lava; fought my way up the hill around to the left; passed a metal bridge on my right up to the Carrier Birds. There is a statue on my left with a platform at the bottom. I droped down to the platform and tried several times to fly to the other side with no luck. That is a large gap to try and fly over! I thought that the valve to the volcano was over there. I have got to be doing something wrong. Would someone please help me locate the valve to the volcano?

With Air Power 2 you should be able to jump the gaps, that`s why you get it in this area so you can progress across them. It isn`t easy to make the jumps but it can be done, keep trying.

Rick or Anyone - Sorry to be a nuisance, still having @@#$! jumping over the lava pool to the other side! Do you find the only way to fly to the other side is from the lower platform under the statue?? I do not know why I am having so much trouble with this. It is my first big problem that I cannot seem to get right...

I haven`t been to this part of the game in a long while so I really can`t remember a platform or ledge there. All I can remember is going to the statue and making that long flight across. I died a few times but finally timed it so I caught the ledge at the other side and climbed up, I think. The jump looks impossible to do but I made it after a few tries and couldn`t believe that I did. You get past there and it should be relatively smooth sailing for a little while anyway.

When you get to the statue, you don't jump down till later. Go from the statue and jump the gap. You will come back here later to drop to the platform with the gem.

Some puzzles like activating the giant crystal and some tasks such as shooting down the 20 satellites are simply too hard to make this great game truely enjoyable. It would be nice to be able to set a difficulty level for the game/tasks/puzzles. Without Rick's great walthrough I would have not been able to reach the Death realm. Game designers should understand we are not trying to qualify for Menza here, we just trying to enjoy ourselves. ;-)

Also some areas in the game are so dark that I simply could not play it during the day because of the glare until I found about the cheat to turn the lights on. Next game should be easier on the eyes!

I agree about the 20 cores, I absolutely hated that part of the game. As far as the crystal, I kind of liked that puzzle and thought it was at least solveable.
I also agree the game was too dark and used the lights on code throughout the whole game.
This is one game I will NOT soon forget though because of the difficulty. I went in with the attitude I was going to kick Azuriks Azz and wound up getting mine kicked half the time....hahaha.

You're telling me! I've spent about 6 hours by now on the cores and the best I've done is knocking out 16 of them. After that point, the only four with cores left were not in my path when I went by them. Very frustrating! Does anyone have any suggestions?

I really did hate the fact that all the enemies came back after you killed them when you resumed the game or quit and started the next day. Even if you save after killing them it doesn`t matter. Since there is no reward for killing them aside from filling up what you used to kill them to begin with I can`t see the benefit to this other than it makes the game all that much harder. I would have enjoyed taking in the sights instead.

I totally agree with you. My brother and I think there should have been experience points or somethin. Also, i think that they should have made it so that you have to defeat the enemies in a room before continuing.

Remember that electrical doorway you couldn`t get through in the Earth Realm near the beginning? It was up the little hill on the left just as you went through the Fire Barrier into the room with all the little enemies and there was also an Obsidian sitting high on top of a pillar. That`s the 3rd Air Disc....you can also jump out to the Obsidian while there.
The Water Guardian is in that iris opening just above the underwater save platform. Also that tube that takes you into the rough seas area is there, in the deep canyon.
You need all 3 Water Disc pieces for the iris to open and suck ya in.

Enter the Water Realm from town. go across to the silver transporter and use it. Then head towards the giant gate, but look underwater. You'll see a canyon eventually. Sink to the bottom and look for a save disk. Save and look for a Blue circle in the wall. If you have 3 water disk fragments, open the door. TO DEFEAT HER: Freeze her tenticles, then thaw them. they get shorter every time. do this until The tenticles are gone.

Where did you get creature names? I don't think you invented names like "Deluvian Stalker" yourself. (I am looking at your creatures table.) The creatures table is very helpful, but how do I guess who is who without a picture? And how about "best shield against" column?

The manual that comes with the game has the pics and names of the creatures in it so I didn`t bother posting them again and making the page load much slower.
If you look in the "Powers" page it lists the shields and the best use for them.
Why do I have 2 of the same forums? Actually I don`t. This forum is suppose to be about game ideas and ways to improve the game. The message board is on the main page and so listed.
I think in the near future I am going to take one off though.

I do not have the XBOX memory unit. I am trying to find a way to save at any point in the game. I have used the quick save directions (press the white button; press D-pad up, (is the D-pad the direction pad used when walking?); then press the green-A button; then press the red B-button. I click the right-stick and then I follow the directions for the right-stick. Is the right-stick the movie camera? I am an old dog trying to learn new tricks! Can someone help me? If the memory unit is truly needed, I will purchase one. Thanks.

p.s. I may be dead and buried before i can get through the ringed generator, is there a secret that I am missing? I've tried every way to get through, but cannot.

The D pad is the directional pad. Enter the code as quickly as possible. If it isn`t entered quick enough it won`t work.
You will notice in the ringed generator that the platforms slow and stop spinning, if you time your jump to the last spin you can land just as it stops. This will give you the time you need to get therough it.

Did you go back to the water realm where the whirlpool use to be? If you defeated the water guardian there is now a spaceship here that takes you to the air realm but you will have to fight a certain person first to get there.

You must activate the small crystals in order to activate the big crystal. Go to the four small crystals and hit them while your axion is using the power signified by the posts in front of the small crystals. The crystals will glow when they are activated.

I think it is possible to get back there by using the jumpshield out of one of the doorways. I remember going in circles in that area for a while before I figured out what to do. Took a little persistence but I got back. Can`t quite remember exactly how I did it though but know it is possible.

I have found the save code and the light code to be invaluable. do not use save code on anything that moves. I also have found it to my benefit to ocassionaly save it on the add on memory. I have learned the hard way. I am on game four because of trying to save on moving platforms and losing the game,before I thought of saving it on the add on memory.

I agree that dismemberment and body damage on the critters would have been cool, but there are very specific guidelines for video game ratings. If you show body damage that'll get you a mature rating. If you kill humanoid creatures that'll get you a mature rating. We had to get a teen rating, so gore was out unfortunately. In fact we were lucky to get a teen rating considering you walk around with a huge axe slaughtering critters the whole time...

Yeah, that`s what I thought Jeff. I think the rating system is a little too tough in terms of what it considers gore and all that. It is only make believe.
But on the other hand it`s okay for a teen to get a hunting license and shoot animals in real life. Just seems ironic to me.
No offense to all you fine people that are hunters, just making an example here of double standards in our society.

I agree about the save slots. I'm sure that most of you are game buffs, but I am not one and get pretty frustrated with Azurik having to go so far back after hitting the lava of death. I do love the game but it is extemely difficult for me. It is rather dark in the fire realm if you play during the day and can be a little hard on the eyes. So is there any way to beat the big static towers or what ever they are... all I know is they pack a mean zap! scares the hell out of me.

You mean the Tesla Trees. You can`t beat them, all you can do is equip your electro shield to absorb the shock. One thing you can beat and I`ll bet not many have tried is the Lavalars(those giant dragon things in the lava). Not really worth it though,I beat the 2 and only got a water power fuel cell.

I often wondered how you can hit an enemy with a sword (or this case Axion) and not cause any physical damage on them. For some reason it is more like beating them with a club than using a sharp instrument. I would like to see a developer show some actual damage on the enemy I am fighting.....slash, slash!

I didn`t like the fact that I didn`t have any control over where the save files were placed. Sometimes I wanted to make a backup save file and couldn`t. I like the option to save where I want and in as many slots as I want also.

Without a doubt Azurik could have used a number of additional saves. Better yet would have been a save anywhere feature. Let`s hope that any future games have this feature.
