These are my suggestions:


Give up snacks. In the afternoon for a boost, have a diet cola WITH caffeine. I found my 100 calories with no fat yogurt added up to 500 calories by the end of the work week. What a waste.


Go on a liquid diet. This will help you not actually eat anything. Any liquid is fine, but if you're use to eating, have something with calories in it. If it's low in calories feel free to drink it more often.


Delay breakfast. Giving up breakfast can save tons of calories. Well depedning on what you eat. If you have something, like a caffeinated drink, that will help your metabolism and get you going in the morning instead of food. First delay for an hour, then after a few days, try another hour and so on. Soon breakfast will be non existant. But you may want to have something low cal/low fat on hand just in case. (Bread with spray butter works, or small granola bars, I found Kudos wtih m&m's have 90 cals 1.5 fat.) Also, have something on hand just in case you want or need to eat before lunch.


Stay busy. If you're busy, you can't eat. Clean the house, how clean can you get it? Go to the library, no food allowed and mine has internet and magazines and books and more. Go shopping, even browsing. If you feel like you'll buy something, pick something small and low priced, not food, and then you'll be satisfied. Write in a diary/journal. Write a novel. Make a web site. Take up a craft. Take classes, go back to school. Get a job. Volunteer. Play with your kids. Play with your dogs. Take your dogs to training classes. Read. Sleep. Take a bath. Whatever you want to do.


Don't buy high fat foods. If you have to for someone else (husband, kids) make them off limits to yourself. You cannot have them. The food is for them, not you. This is a rule.


Buy very little food. Don't buy a lot. It saves money, time and your waiste line.


Put extra money in savings so you can't buy food. Then you can't go out to lunch often either. Make a list of items you want to save up for.


Look at pictures of thin people. Or fat people. One or the other might help you not want to eat.


Read about diets. Just reading about them might stimulate you not to eat. And give you ideas on low cal/low fat foods.


Watch tv or movies with thin people in it. Almost all of them will have someone real thin in it.


Exercise. You can't eat and exercise at the same time and you'll get rid of the fat you put on when you weren't exercising.
