Every country has not only the right, but also the duty to defend itself and its population. Peace methods have been proposed, but those who kill innocent Israelis using suicide bombers or otherwise have no deterrents. They are told that it is "good" to do that, and they don't mind dying for their cause. Obviously the Israelis' retaliation causes more troubles, and the spiral of violence and hatred is very difficult to stop. Reduce the hurting of innocent people on both sides of the conflict, and stop the teaching of hatred on both sides, if you can. Good luck!
