As you can see it really seems to be a drivers issue.

I'm curious whether anyone is successfully using Premiere 6 with the DC-30. What problems have you encountered, if any? Have you used a firewire card along with the DC-30? Is Premiere 6 worth getting into without a new driver from Pinnacle?

I'm using DC30+ v2.0 for Macintosh OS 9.1.2. Everything works OK, except that there is a Green or Black empty space at the bottom of the Preview window for the Video. This also happens in Cleaner 5.0.2. If I take out DC30+ extension, the video looks OK, but won't have the Driver for the Video.

Hi!

I have been using P6 for 1 month and a half now. I found P6 very cool, especially using the project bin folders and the windows user presets...

It works fine exept the following bugs:
1- When playing from timeline, sometimes it works, sometimes some clips are not seen on TV output... My advice is to export to file and then export to video using P5. No problem to have both P5 and P6 at a time...

2- Track 1A is buggued: If you begin you project on 1A instead of 1B, lots of bugs and crashes may occur...

3- in Edit-Preferences, you can choose the default length of insertion of a still image, the default length is set when importing the image in bin, not when putting it on the timeline...

4- When having clips on 1B and putting another clip on 1A over them, when you'll remove the 1A clip, it will still be seen when played, whereas it is no longuer there...

5- Monitor window is still moved when openning a new project, but the custom window settings are here now ;-)

6- Transition, video, navigator... windows are still over a fullscale openning of a clip or a picture...

7- Sometimes crashes while using double arrow or zone selection to move a part of a clip... (but very rarely if you pay attention of "1A first clip bug"...

8- Sometimes crashes while autosaving (rare... but sometimes...)

9- Audio monitor doesn't seems (I said "seems" because my windows install is not very stable...) support SB liveware3...

10- Can't copy-paste a multi-selection or files...

11- in the proect window, sometimes impossible to select multi files using ALT-GR... Sometimes, because it first ran yesterday night ;-)

Hope this help... I think that most of these bugs will be solved soon, with the arrival of official DC30+ drivers (I was using 1.41a...)

Seems to be impossible to export back to P5.1... You don't have a save as option... unfortunatly...

Hello !
Sorry for bad en glish, i'm french user !

I have a big problem with Premi�re 6.0 (English version), with the timeline:

When i put a clip on 1A, any transition and a clip
on 1B (deplyed tmeline or not) the video clip 1a
work and when arrive to the video clip on 1B it work very slowly and saccade images.
I'm so desapointed with this prob because i think that it's a good and practice version of premiere.

So please if anybody of PINNACLE can tell me if there is a solution to my problem please HELP ME !

This is one of the bugs I mentionned before, see one of my post in the topic... Track 1B is buggued when using track 1A...

Drivers are annonced to arrive in april... Hope these bugs will be solved... Seems that they come from the DC30+ drivers, but not from premiere itself... I fact, when this bug appears, Premiere is playing 1B on monitor window, and what follows on tv, this is the reason why everyting appears with saccades...

When using P6 and you want to transfer to P5.1, the only way I have been able to do it is to export for file uncompressed, then in P5.1 load the file, and export to file again. Very time consuming but it seems to have worked in my last two tries.

Using DC30+ with newly upgraded Premiere 6 and Win2000. Checked with our local dealer - and there was no problems in switching - they said. BUT the same bug appears on m� computer, PIII - 600Mhz - 256 Mb.
Where was this upgrade to fix those bugs to be published? Adobe or Pinnacle?

I've installed P6.0 & kept 5.1c without checking up on the miroDriver situation.

I've managed to get everything working - the external monitor display took a few hours to get working but i can't access certain features - The Audio Mixer for example. And there is a tendancy for it to freeze.
I've gotta say - the improvements are great but i desperately want updated drivers!!!!
