I have had problems too but after loggin in as a administrator in XP i CAN install my DC10+

Note that you CAN NOT install the DC10 if you login as a user with administration rights !!!

The loggin screen must HAVE a loggin icon named 'administrator' (and NO it will not help you if you change your loggin name into 'administrator' !!!

I use studio8 and the hardwarepatch from pinnacle and
a HD formatted as a NTFS drive (*.avi files can now be longer than 4 gig = fat32 limmit...) and it works PERFECT
