of course anonymous posters could care less. But you should erase the board first because others posted on the condition of being anonymous. This would be pretty tricky of you Ms. Beck and may make you some enemies.

Usually IP's are turned on instantaneously when the inappropriate comments continue. I feel I gave people fair warning that I intended to turn them on so that allowed them time to contact me if they had identifying posts and wanted them removed. Most of the posts are positive and many people even sign their names so I didn't think it was a real problem. The bashing posts, as you say, use an anonymizer IP anyway so they have no need to desire removal. If you believe that it is fairer, I will wait until the weekend.
