I asked Jack K. (on Scigolf) if any style of SA was affected more by the use of offset irons. In a nutshell he said:

Check out the pros, they are looking for every advantage they can get. They don't use them and some have lost strokes when they tried them

If you use a club that design or intended to correct or affect a swing fault or characteristic, then you better have that characteristic in your swing. If you eliminate the tendency to slice by using SA then you will have trouble with offset clubs that are designed to correct a slice.

Best clubs with SA are blades with low centre of gravity, light clubhead and no offset.

I think I got that right, don't I boys?
