Remington,
Was the left arm just held across the chest at the "top" of the short backswing or was there a shoulder turn involved?

Most instructors seem to teach a shoulder turn to create coil. The argue that coil is the power source for distance. It is clear that the PGA Pros do it.

My problem is that my shots are less consistent if I activate the left shoulder. My distance seems ok but it's just like money. How much is enough? (Answer: Just a little bit more)

Dave
