Hmmm, good question. Maybe that's why I suck so much! :-)

Actually, it's not so much an "image" as in a picture in my mind of what my body should look like, it's more of a feeling that I associate with clubpath. When I recreate the feeling, I recreate the clubpath. If I think to much about what I look like or anything other than the feeling of a smooth tempo where the clubhead just moves away from the ball and back through the ball towards the target, I start screwing up.

I've had some people tell me that I'm athleticly inclined (although nobody would confuse me for an athlete), but people who know me also know that that in many ways athleticly I'm just a complete spaz, so who knows... (I still feel like I throw a baseball like a girl, even though I've seen video of it and I know I don't).

Anyway, one of the reasons I ALWAYS caveat my swing suggestions is because I know that all to often, what works for me is exactly the wrong thing for someone else (and vice versa). I still need to ingrain the fundamentals so well that I don't have to think of them every time I stand over a ball...

GeneO.
