I am back home and able to refer to my copy of The Golf Machine by Homer Kelly. Instead of saying "the Hogan position" I will use the TGM terminology from here on out.

The translation goes as follows:

Hogan's Supination..TGM - Arched.....Wrist flexed beyond level.
Hogan's Pronation...TGM - Bent.........Extension of wrist beyond level.

TGM Flat is the position between the two where the back of the hand is on a line with the back(top) of the arm.

TGM - Vertical...If your arm was extended in front of you your thumb would point up.

TGM - Turned....If your right arm was extended in front of you your thumb would point right and your palm up. The end of supination of the left hand and pronation of the right.

TGM - Rolled.....If your right arm was extended in front of you your thumb would point left and your palm down. The end of pronation of the left hand and supination of the right.

TGM - Cocked......Maximum abduction of the wrist
TGM - Uncocked...Maximum Adduction of the wrist. This is the position of Moe's left wrist at setup.
TGM - Level..........Betweem cocked amd umcocked so that the thumb edge of the hand is inline with the forearm.

There. A complete vocabulary of wrist positions.

Peter
