I wear a M/L glove so my hands aren't particularly large.

The real issue isn't achieving the overlap, it is closing the various 'spaces' in the grip. When you take a grip per IMA the 'angles' of the hands on the club do not match. As a result you either need to 'scrunch' up the left index finger (Moe does this) or reverse overlap (I've heard Scott does this now) if you want to insure no part of the grip is exposed.

When I overlap or interlock the a section of the grip is exposed. You can play this way and I have. What I did find is that there is almost an elemental drive to make the hands 'fit' together and I cheated that way over time and found myself out of allignment. Then I went back to 10 finger Scrunching the left index.

I know it's possible but I would not recommend it. Scott says it does not matter as long as you keep SA allignment.

Peter
