What you have copied Scott H. as saying about grip size is the same thing that I have stated about grip size only in a different manner.

In a True Single Axis Grip, the grip doesn't lay across the heel pad of the right hand. It lays between the thumb pad and the heel pad in line with the right forearm. If you think that the grip lays across the heel pad I can understand why you are wrong on your thinking that you can have an overlap with the palm grip.

Yes, you can grip the club your way, it just isn't the same grip that Jack K. had Moe switch to and taught in NG or what he is teaching now. I also have the IMA tape, if you look closely Scott H. has the grip in is right hand between the thumb pad and the heel pad in line with the right forearm.
