I had the pleasure of hitting the new clubs at a demo day here yesterday. I don't intend to buy a set since I have remade my titleist irons to work fine for NG, but I just wanted to see what they were like. I would say the heads on the G3 clubs is much superior to anybody's $7 head. While I might personally opt for a $25 Golfsmith forged head, the new NG clubs are a vast improvement over the old ones. The set up appearance is great. Looks like a blade from the top. They were very solid. From the back, they were about as similar to any of the big names latest entries as those are to each other. For someone who doesn't want to convert their old CG clubs or build a set from the very best components, these new clubs would be a good choice. As a Natural golfer, I certainly wouldn't opt for a new set of Callaways, Hogans, or any other of the best sellers in their stead.
