Pete,

I have to agree with you Pete. While checking out the IMA web site, I saw some of the things Scott said or inferred about NG. I don't think he's doing himself any favors by doing that.

It's a shame too because it seems to me that he's an excellent instructor who might have something to offer to curious NG'ers, since the swings are so similar, if he didn't alienate them first.

I have the LOBG (NG) tapes and the IMA tapes and found them both to be very good. On the IMA tapes though, Scott goes into more detail on the individual aspects (grip, positions, release, etc.) of the single-axis swing than did the LOBG tapes.

My fledgling single-axis swing still more closely resembles the NG swing (my flexibility isn't what it used to be), but I'm having better success now that I've gained a better understanding of the mechanics.
