Subject: The New Gen3 NG clubs

Looking at these clubs in the NG magazine shows me that NG is now on the right track as far as club design.

The older clubs version one and two both followed the NG patent of which Jack Kuykendal was the author. Jack himself today say's that the design was flawed and the center of gravity was way to high in those clubs.

These new sticks are back weighted with copper plugs like the original Orilmar irons are. They have progressive offset to facilitate the use of the longer irons.

With the low center of gravity these sticks should perfomr a lot better then the older ones and get the ball up a lot easier, this has even been a complaint with Todd Graves who was even looking into playing Titleist 990's.

If you are new into NG and "must" have their equipment, these should be the sticks of choice, even though the price is about $200. or $300. more then what they should be, after all "real" Orlimars sell for $695. a set, and they have multi-million dollars invested in advertising, whereas NG only spends a fraction of that. The sticks are definately are a fat cash cow for NG, that's why they are so testy about any negatice comments, or advice on less expensive alternatives on the NG board!
