The idea that war boosts the economy is wrong. In fact only the rich get richer in a war, and the poor only gain patriotism (hell they need something).

The best way to help the economy is finds everyone jobs. More taxes without tax hikes, more people working= increased tax revenue. The surplus can:

reduce national debt,

help legitimately incapable of working

help educate all (which increases technology driven economies like ours)

and much more!

Why not? The rich want to get richer, screw everyone else. War? Who dies? The rich? No, the poor. Then the rich can find a way to get their property.

Don't get me started on the rich.
