Subject: Afterlife brought up here

To quote dogma:

There is not enough information to make definite assertions about an afterlife, so make this world the best you can. Or in another way, live this life for the next, live it for now.

Sheol is "hell." But that is the just death. The wages for sin is death, etc.

The idea of hell as an eternal torment comes from the idea that there will be a judgement. What the judgement will mean is still debated.

I do not want to say that there are no ideas or even teachings, but they are not to the extent of a dogatic assertion. They are all personal belief.

That brings up my personal beliefs. I believe time is an illusion and we are all the part of the same essence. It is through our experience of the physical that has created the illusion of time. God created all this to experience creation (expound on that all you want).

I do not therefore believe in an "after" so there can be no "afterlife." As to the results of final judgement, there will be a collection of experience and knowledge before all returns to one. I do not believe in evil, because all is one. What we call evil is really just creation that we do not understand as fitting into our perception of God's plan.
