I prefer no maintenance to low maintenance anyday.

My dear wife is much the same way. She wears a uniform to work, has one dress (one), one skirt (one), one pair of dress shoes, the rest of her clothes deal with things we do. Hiking boots, sandals, and a pair of gym shoes and all the material breathes well and sheds water.

When asked about make up, she says it is a waste of time; when asked about perfume she would say it attacks insects. What about a purse, you ask? Her answer "Sure, just put all your valuables in a little bag so people know what to grab when they rob you.

Skirts and dresses just are for dress up, not anything real.

I love the fact that she has a wallet instead of a purse. Make up is a waste of time.

Unfortunately I have more than one pair of hiking boots, I have two (I alternate them, or pick according to the weather (one pair is better for water). Then I have a pair of sandals, a pair of dress shoes, and a pair of work boots (sometimes you just prefer a steel toe).
