Or because it says if we want to help we must change ourselves first from the inside out. We can start by not lying so much and treating people like dirt?

Or is it the part that says, tell me who's the real patriot, the Archie Bunker slobs waving flags, or the people with the guts to work for some real change?

Or is it the part that says, real freedom scares you because it means responsibility, so you chicken out and threaten me. Saying, "love it, or leave it," I'll get beat up if I criticize it. You say you'll fight to the death to save your useless flag, if you want a banana republic that bad, why don't you go move to one?

Do you not *like* it because it's exposing America, and giving alternative ideas on how to make this place better before we destroy ourselves, or do you feel that I was aiming it towards you?

I mean, I need a specific reason. And if you say you just don't like it due to the content of the song, you didn't read it all the way through.

It does say, I'm glad I live in a place where I can say the things I do without being taken out and shot.

The song can not be refuted. If you can find a refutable line, please tell me.

I know you love America, but you've gotta open your mind a little bit... I mean, at least to the facts.

Leave blind faith to the Christians. Please.
