Cincinnati, Ohio. We are the center of racial profiling, and trying to get over our recent rioting after the shooting of an unamred black man by a white officer.

The shooting is a good example of what I am talking about. He made a split second decision where race really could not have been the deciding factor, and there was so much disagreement later.

My thought is the officer got home, that is good. The suspect (I can call him this here) didn't, but could have.

Did he have probable cause to shoot? From what I heard, I probably would have shot the man also. Another officer (black) had drawn his weapon while pursuing this same suspect minutes before, but did not shoot (the suspect was running away not towards).

But I am prejudiced, I went through a lot of training with this officer, and I respect him. I never have seen him act or speak in a questionable way about race issues. Which is special in itself.
