On John1*1,I admit Greek is not one of my personal expertise but I will tell you how I see it.Its just plain common sense that you cannot be with someone and be them at the same time,it just doesnt make sense,so put this with the rest of the new testament which clearly says he is Gods son and it lends itself to a different understanding of Johns account.Ask yourself whats more polytheistic viewing Jesus as a god or viewing him as one god of three in a trinity,now thats polytheistic.Further to that your trinitarian friend mentioned how its possible for humans to be Father,son,uncle and brother at the sametime,yes it is but its not possible to be your own biological father or son,so that argument doesnt work.==On the scripture in thebook of Isaiah where Jesus is called Immanuel which means God is with us,hmmmm and what about Jehu from the old testament which translates "Jehovah is he" was he God aswell,and there are plenty more like that.==More to come.
