Yes George, that's how I meant that. See, I believe after the "fall" of the Soviet Union, America desperatly looked for new enemies so that the whole military spending, research, personnel, equipment can be rationalized for the voters. So they came up with these rogue states like, Iran, Iraq and North Korea who don't really pose any threat in global "war" terms.
No, Russia was more than willing to help America in the last years in order to get various kinds of help, aids and recognition on the diplomatic floor again. Now, the world is perfect again for the military guys in America. They have plenty of new enemies, they call them terrorists, what a cute name! Because this pretty much gives America every right to attack, or "aid" any country to defend against its own individual opposition forces, guerrillas, criminals or maybe even "freedom fighters".
So that's what I meant. Russia won't fit in this category and it doesn't have to fit. First of all Russia is too much of an equal fighter compared to the states and secondly why bother, there are plenty of other countries to pick on...
So yeah, that's what i meant. Russia can relax for now, unless America decides it has seen enough of that Chechnya mess and decides to intervene. Very unlikely but, who knows, with President Smirk on the helm...you'll never now. The axis of evil goes right through is head so sometimes he probably has trouble finding himself on that axis....:)

P.S.: I was in St. Petersburg 4 years ago, it was beautiful, I think Russia and the other federation states should open up more and boost Tourism more than before....Therre's so much to see and such a great heritage... ;)
