I thought the movie was interesting - it showed just how desperate people can get when they feel that they have no other options. The actions of the revolutionaries eventually had an impact on the government, as Brazil, in the 1990s, released its political prisoners and moved to democracy. Not all revolutionaries were able to see this achieved, however.
