unnoticed
aqua films scan the hazy metropolis surroundings quickly, orbs narrowed to mere slits, coffee eyebrows leaning inwards, creasing my forehead slightly; my un-ceasing natural expression. the dead noise of the practically deserted streets lingers in my ears, a sound that wasn't often heard where i originally came from.

proceeding
i step off the cement curb onto the broken asphalt of the back-side road, my baggy-jean-clad pistons carry me swiftly along the gutter trail briefly before i send a quick glance over my shoulder and jog across the parchment. i loop my opposable digits into the loops of my pants as i slow my pace slightly, although i maintain a good click - i knew better than to be slow in this type of neighbourhood. besides, the quiet was unnerving and i wanted to leave it behind.

destination
without much a sense of direction in this sprawling city i simply ambled along most side streets, i was use to this type of place; the ones where screams resonate from almost each building or dark alley you pass. felt like home again. pity. one particular darkness calls out to me and i enter without hesitation. there's no better day to die than today, right?
