I now think only ONE Demo Charge can be placed. Going back to Rule 5.75, in the table there is a note "* May fire up to double that number by forfeiting inherent FP" for most support weapons, but the note does not apply to Demo Charges or Flamethrowers. Therefore I think a squad can only use one Demo Charge or Flamethrower at a time.

I am asking for a Squad Leader Grognard to clarify the rules on using more than one Demo Charge or Flamethrower at a time.
