Ok. I knew that the boards are from (V)ASL, but did not
realize this also affects the computation of LOS.
I do not know ASL, but from what I heard i suspected
it to have more complicted LOS rules. ;)

I would have guessed something like that since raising the
sourcehex in a two story building to level 2 seems to
produces more SQL-like results.

Sure, I read that already, but never used for now. Just
proceeding to play SC5 the first time.

Lots. The most important information was this board thing.
Now a lot of things start to make sense. :-)

Are blind hexes the only problem? Because that would make
the LOS untility not totaly useless.

Hmm. Should be possible I guess, at least because it seems
to be the easier implementation of the same problem.
