Based on my continuing observations of the "Record of
Scenarios" ... I don't think that the German side really
needs much help.

But I'll offer two comments. The first, that many who
have played this scenario will understand, is that the
need to "force march" is not limited to the Russian side!

The second is that although there are three or four basic
Russian strategies (with variances in the details), there
is also a viable response to each of those Russian
strategies. Finding a workable response is critical, and
they all will involve some sort of maneuver.

But in the end, when the "chips are laid out" ... the
German challenge is to figure out how to break or KIA
enough Russian squads so that there won't be five left
that can exit!

I still like playing Alpha (any of its levels) because
the results from those fire attacks will be different, which
will then make each subsequent turn in each separate game
a completely different experience and challenge. :-)
