June 12 and 13 $1000 First Place Guaranted tournament

Hi All, With the our next tournament just a week away I thought I would give you all an up date. As state in the following flyer the top four places will pay cash with 5th thru 10th receiving mechandise prizes. Well we will be giving a little more than that due to several generous sponsors. There will be 8 merhandise prizes given plus the top youth and lady angler will receive $50 each along with any other prizes they may win. These additional $50 prizes were donated by Hodges Body Shop of Lyons, 620-257-2201 in addition to his $100 first place donation.

I sure wish we had more members that would have went out and asked for sponsorship as only a small group of us did so. This is everyones club and if 1/2 of us would have gotten at least 1 or 2 sponsors our prizes could have been, well who knows, Maybe next year. The fishing has been tough the last week with me fishing 3 days and only catching 5 stripers. The bait fish have moved out of the shallows and the fish just haven't caught up, the bite should improve a bunch in the next few days, Good Luck to All, Jack Hoskinson

Entry fee is $40 per person, optional Striper and Walleye pot is $10 per category.

You must be a Kansas Striper Assoc. member; yearly memberships are $15 single or $17.50 family. Included in price is a year�s subscription to Striped Bass Magazine
