Subject: Shad snagging

Yesterday afternoon I fished the back of Hell Creek at Wilson. It seems the shad are always stacked up back there this time of year flipping the top of the water near the shore edges. No wander the Stripers move in and eat there so often this time of year. Unfortunately for me the stripers weren't back there yet and my waders were leaking. That makes for some chilly feet. Needless to say, I didn't last very long. I snagged 5 shad in about 30 minutes, big old 14-15 inchers. I'm sure if I could of held out, the stripers would have moved in.
