As I see it, a lot depends on one's environmental conditions, and the priorities one attaches to one's world view. There are lots of people on this globe who have no time at all to do more than get basic necessities for themselves and for the other members of their families: nourishing food, proper shelter and suitable clothing.
..... If spare time is available, then, maybe, some NEW thoughts may come along, anf IF they are useful, and IF they emerge at the right time, then, maybe, one may be regarded as a GENIUS; hopefully long before one is dead.
..... There are lots of people around who will not accept new ideas, and many will try to prove these ideas to be quite wrong and/or evil. Then there is also a lot of competition that may prevent any publication while the GENIUS is still living of a GENIUS' results of very hard work during many hours.
