I too am surprised about the yellow stains in fingers which seemed to go away a great deal with the advent of filters. Twenty five years ago or so, I remember one of our group smoking and saying how she would hold her cigarette to prevent the stains. Since I didn't smoke at the time and never expected to become regular, I didn't pay attention. We did notice a woman who was a long-time non-filter smoker who was a turnoff to women smoking. Thus, the friend said that wouldn't happen to her because of the hold.
In another matter, Kim or Katie, I know a woman from Korea who married an American and came over to the U.S. After a few years, she was introduced to smoking by American woman she had coffee with.
She smoked for five years and quit for seven. Several months ago the smoking fiance of her stepson re-introduced her to smoking. I was wondering if a person of Korean roots has some parts of the family they will not show or even mention smoking to.
